Plastic Surgery Congress 2008

The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons is proud to announce its upcoming Plastic Surgery Congress for 2008.

This exciting event will be held in October at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, Queensland.

This four day Conference will involve renowned keynote speakers from around the world and a trade exhibition featuring leading companies that provide products and clinical services to plastic surgeons.

Invitation to Attend

The ASPS 2008 Plastic Surgery Congress is expected to attract over 300 participants. Under the theme of Positioning ASPS to meet the challenges of the next decade, the conference will include five international guest speakers, an exciting social program and a trade exhibition presented over four days from 2-5 October 2008.

General Information

Registration Desk – the registration desk will be located outside the main plenary conference room. Staff at the registration desk will be happy to help with any queries.

Name Badges – all delegates will be issued with a name badge at registration. This badge will be the official pass to sessions, teas, lunches and official social functions. It is necessary for delegates to wear their name badges at all times when on-site for security reasons.

Messages – a message board will be located next to the registration desk throughout the Conference.

Smoking Policy – the Conference has a no smoking policy. Smoking is only permitted in the outdoor areas.

Goods & Services Tax (GST) – please note that all prices are inclusive of GST.

Insurance – it is strongly recommended that you take out insurance prior to travelling.

Disclaimer of Liability – the Organising Committee, including the Conference Secretariat, will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by participants or their accompanying persons, or loss of or damage to their personal property, as a result of the meeting or related events.

Dietary Requirements – specific dietary requirements can be catered for, i.e. vegan, vegetarian, allergies, gluten free. However, individual food preferences cannot be catered for.
